SFOMETH
SFOMETHSFOMETH is a DLL driver (link Driver) which allows a Super-Flash application to communicate with OMRON PLCs via Ethernet.

Automa created this new Ethernet driver with the aim of maximising the efficiency of communication fot those who use Super-Flash.
The advantages of SFOMETH
Effective
A Super-Flash application is able to communicate with OMRON PLCs using a software driver interface with a standard PC Ethernet card.
Economical
It is possible to purchase the driver in Runtime, version; the license can be used for a single application.

Description
SFOMETH is a DLL driver (Link Driver) which allows a Super-Flash application to manage communication with OMRON PLCs via FINS Ethernet protocol.
Characteristics
SFOMETH manages:

  1. communication with up 100 PLCs
  2. retries on single equipment in case of communication error
  3. inactivity time on single equipment in case of communication error
  4. minimum time between communication sessions on single equipment
  5. reading/writing operation of CIO area resources(16/32 bit integer, 32 bit floating point) in single or array mode
  6. reading/writing operation of WR area resources (16/32 bit integer, 32 bit floating point) in single or array mode
  7. reading/writing operation of HR area resources (16/32 bit integer, 32 bit floating point) in single or array mode
  8. reading/writing operation of AR area resources (16/32 bit integer, 32 bit floating point) in single or array mode
  9. reading/writing operation of DM area resources (16/32 bit integer, 32 bit floating point) in single or array mode
  10. reading/writing operation of EM area resources (16/32 bit integer, 32 bit floating point) in single or array mode
Limits
  1. Maximum number of PLC directly connected on Ethernet UPD/IP or TCP/IP is 100
  2. Timer resources are not supported
  3. Counter resources are not supported
  4. Bit area resources are not supported
